| He'd had a romance with Elaine Stritch go haywire, and Elizabeth had watched her marriage to Freddie Cammann go down the drain, and misery likes company. They began by consoling each other, ended by enjoying each other's charm. Somehow it's hard to think of this as a serious romance, however. Gig's tall, dark and handsome; Elizabeth's young, blonde and lovely; they look wonderful together, and if you want to think they're shopping for a wedding, go ahead and think it, they won't mind. It just doesn't seem very likely to us. Liz, in obtaining her decree, asked for and received her maiden name back again. We think she intends to make that name as famous as her fathers, and love can wait. | ||||||||
